This area includes three major harbours of significant environmental importance and over 246km of coastline. With several exciting large-scale civil engineering projects in our portfolio, we are seeking motivated and enthusiastic individuals to join our team.
As a Coastal Engineer, you will undertake the role of either an NEC Site Supervisor or Project Manager, where you will help to protect communities and shape our coastal landscape for future generations. Working across a variety of ground-breaking studies, design and construction projects, successful candidates will have the opportunity to be involved in all areas of the team's work. We are particularly interested in knowledgeable candidates with experience or interest in the following roles:

You will undertake the role of an NEC Site Supervisor, supporting the Managing Supervisor in monitoring the construction works, resolving technical issues, undertaking tests, inspections, and surveys using GPS, total stations, laser scanners and UAV's, along with daily record keeping, stakeholder liaison and health & safety checks. You will be mostly site based and work alongside the client's project and contract managers to successfully deliver the construction phase of our coastal engineering capital and maintenance projects.
You will have knowledge of civil engineering processes and construction methods and be keen to apply your skills and experience to problem solve site issues. You will need a degree in civil engineering or closely related discipline, and applications are welcome from experienced candidates, graduates, and final year students, with relevant training provided to support your role as part of an integrated site team. This is a career graded post with the initial salary dependent on experience and qualifications.
