At Eni, we are looking for a Logistic Superintendent (Marine Superintendent) within Eni Congo S.A. You will be responsible for ensuring safe, reliable and efficient execution of all marine operations activities, as well as assuring compliance with all required rules, regulations, procedures and practices.
Location and Work Pattern:
CHINA: From January 2025 to September 2025 (9 months): TOWN BASED (Qidong), RESIDENTIAL.
CONGO: From October 2025/duration 24/36 months: OFFSHORE 28/28 (Marine XII LNG), ROTATIONAL.

As a member of the Logistics Department, you will be responsible for:
During EPCIC / Project Phase
- Reviewing the project deliverables in conformity with LNG industry technology, marine engineering/naval architect and marine operations best practice.
- Providing the necessary operational input to support project execution, certification, sea trials, sail away, towing and commissioning of FLNG facility.
- Participating in HAZID, HAZOP, SIL QRA, RA events to provide marine operations inputs.
- Defining the scope of work and participating in berthing simulations, reviewing and approval of marine operations deliverables such as Berthing simulations report and the berthing plan.
- Providing operations input for the compatibility checks of the design LNG Carries and Condensate tankers.
- Providing marine operations input for the design of personnel transfer system on board the FLNG.
- Reviewing and commenting of marine systems commissioning and start-up procedure.
- Assisting and facilitating smooth transition from the marine/hull systems commissioning and start-up phase to operational phase.
- Participating in FAT & SAT of the marine/hull systems/equipment.
- Responsible for the safe, efficient and reliable execution of all marine operations activities.
- Representing the FLNG Operations in all related marine activities in front of external marine authorities and bodies.
- Managing the arrival, loading, offloading and departure of supply vessels at the FLNG Facility.
- Managing the personnel transfer to and from the FLNG.
- Ensuring compliance with Company procedures and any applicable government laws and proving guidance to achieve safe efficient marine operations.
- Ensuring that all vessels maintain compliance with all required rules, regulations, procedures and practices.
- Participating in emergency response and management activities according to emergency response and management procedures.
- Ensuring effective and safe implementation of marine operations management system
- Ensuring safe berthing, loading, unloading, un- berthing of the marine support units.
- Developing and updating the FLNG's Marine Information and Regulation Manual in Compliance with the Project specifications, international and national laws and rules related thereto.
- Managing the pre-arrival checks on the LNG carriers and other tankers intended to call at the FLNG, in compliance with Company procedures, FLNG information and regulations as well as the related Sells and Purchase Agreement (SPA).
- Interfacing with the LNG carrier and other tankers.
- Ensuring the FLNG's stability conditions during the whole period of production, liquid transfer, bunkering/de-bunkering, loading/discharging containers and break bulk and offloading of LNG and Condensate.
- Managing the activities of all tugs, support fleet, mooring and pilot boat.
- BSC of Engineering.
- Extensive experience in offshore environment, preferably in LNG tankers and/or liquefaction units.
- Significant experience in a managerial/coordination position.
- Solid knowledge of marine operations
- Class 1 Marine Chief Engineer Certificate of Competency according to STCW issued by recognised authority.
- National Legislation (with regard to environmental legislation) Port & Terminal Regulations.
- Compliance with recommendations outlined in OCIMF publications concerning the manning of LNG marine terminal.
- BOSIET and HUET.
- Decision making and problem-solving skills.
- Good capability to manage multidisciplinary teams.
- Proficient knowledge of English language. Intermediate knowledge of French language desired.
