The Role
As a Manager I, Marine & Coastal Engineer with Worley, you will work closely with our existing team to deliver projects for our clients while continuing to develop your skills and experience etc.
- Seeking a Marine structural engineer to be responsible for the design, analysis, and delivery of marine and coastal infrastructure projects, including piers, jetties, offshore platforms, breakwaters, and revetment structures. This role requires strong technical expertise, practical problem-solving skills, and the ability to collaborate across disciplines.
- Should be able to perform structural calculations, modeling, and finite element analysis for marine structures.
- Develop design drawings, specifications, and technical reports in compliance with international codes and standards.
- Experience in feasibility studies, concept designs, and detailed engineering phases.
- Work closely with geotechnical, civil, electrical and mechanical engineers to ensure integrated solutions.
- Liaise with clients, contractors, and regulatory authorities to clarify technical requirements.
- Ensure designs meet safety, environmental, and sustainability standards.
- Support project managers in delivering engineering solutions on time and within budget.
To be considered for this role it is envisaged you will possess the following attributes:
- Bachelor's degree in civil, Structural, or Marine Engineering (Master's preferred).
- 10-15 years of experience in marine structural engineering or related field.
- Proficiency in structural analysis software (e.g., STAAD.Pro, SAP2000, SACS).
- Familiarity with drafting tools (e.g., AutoCAD).
- Strong knowledge of relevant codes and standards (e.g., API, DNV, Eurocode).
- Excellent communication and technical writing skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and work effectively in a team environment.
