What does the job involve?
Responsible for marine logistics within one or more areas, like: offshore support vessels (e.g.:PSVs, AHTS, OSRV), emergency preparedness, offloading support and other logistics needs. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring safe, efficient and effective utilization of these assets to support offshore operations.

This includes coordinating with internal stakeholders, such as drilling, operations and maintenance teams, to ensure that logistical assets are available and operational when needed. Contribute to the organization's ability to deliver resources and services in a risk-based, timely and reliable manner.

What will my tasks be?

Within this position, your key tasks will be to:
  • Be responsible for planning, coordination and follow-up of materials supply to offshore units (incl. Drilling & Well, FPSOs, Wellhead Platforms, Flotels, etc) and tug support for offloading operations.
  • Coordinate roles related to capacity/dimensioning need, technical matters and follow-up responsibility of suppliers for logistical and emergency preparedness resources (Offshore Support Vessels and related equipment).
  • Coordinate operation center, as well as logistical and emergency preparedness resources, HSE performance, technical integrity and availability of chartered support vessels.
  • Coordinate roles related to planning, cost follow-up, performance and logistic development for logistical and emergency preparedness resources.
  • Handle external factors (i.e., weather conditions or logistical capacity constraints) that can influence the execution.
  • Develop and maintain good relationships towards both internal stakeholders and external contractors.
  • Have commercial mindset, understand and utilize relevant agreements regarding to operational needs.
  • Understand the challenges with capacity on offshore installations and find best logistic solution.
  • Be available for on-duty schedules (if applicable).
  • Be available to visit Offshore Support Vessels and Offshore Platforms and rigs when needed.

  • Formal Maritime education (EFOMM) or Bachelor's degree in Engineering (mechanical, chemical, or electrical).
  • Minimum 7 years of relevant experience in the area (at least 5 years involved in Logistics Marine operations, either onshore or offshore).
  • Technical knowledge on Support Vessel's DP and machinery systems.
  • Vessel logistics planning capabilities.
  • Fluent in Portuguese and in English (written and spoken).
  • Communication skills to deal with multiple clients and suppliers.
  • Ability to work under pressure attending multiple stakeholders.
  • Flexibility for offshore and port visits.
