Position Overview:

This position will be responsible for the operational safety of the vessel in the fields of navigation, loading on board and the prevention of environmental pollution.

Responsibilities:
  • Making proper analysis of accidents & incidents and discuss with DPA and GM for Corrective action & implementation.
  • Acting as Emergency Response Team Member
  • Delivering training and creating awareness on safety on board.
  • Providing navigational and operational information and support to Masters.
  • Providing advise/information on stability and critical loading when needed by vessel.
  • Providing advise/information needed by vessel on LSA,FFA and Marpol.
  • Do the pre inspection before charter out or before inspection 3rd party.
  • Any other duties and responsibilities as assigned from time to time
  • Providing training, coaching, and assessing the team in accordance with established HR procedures, to achieve high performance and competency.
  • Evaluating work processes, 5S (Sort, Set in Order, Shine, Standardize, and Sustain), and Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) to achieve effectiveness and efficiency in the department's work processes.
  • Supporting Ship Manager in purchasing spare parts, services, and consumables for ships.
Requirements:
  • Specific Education (ATT/ ANT), Minimum ANT II
  • Minimum 2 years sailing as Chief Officer on board
  • Minimum 1 year experience as Marine Superintendent
  • Willing to work on shore
  • Placement in Head Office, Surabaya
