We are currently recruiting a Marine Technician to work in the Seychelles. Working hours vary and you must be flexible to operational requirements. Please note that this is a full-time, permanent position.

We are currently recruiting a Marine Technician to work in the Seychelles. Working hours vary and you must be flexible to operational requirements. Please note that this is a full-time, permanent position.
What you will be doing
- Completing turnaround service checks, yacht preparation and deck washing
- Briefing of clients on yachts mechanical systems and safety equipment
- Maintenance and repairs to all yachts and yacht equipment/technology
- Proactive and preventative daily maintenance, checks and repairs
- Engine servicing such as oil and filter checks/changes
- Maintenance of outboards for tenders
- Emergency call outs for breakdowns on any of the fleet
- Ensuring the safety of all clients including safety briefings
- Assisting clients with queries and problems
- Assisting with the general running of the base
- Any other duties as directed by the Base Manager
- Experience maintaining diesel engines and 2 & 4 stroke outboard engines
- Working knowledge of 12V DC electrical systems and yacht plumbing systems
- Practically minded with an ability to solve problems
- Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines
- Experience in a customer focused environment
- Sociable and positive personality
- A strong team player
- Yacht sailing experience is desirable but not essential
- Must be able to swim
