about the role

Chevron Australia has an exciting opportunity for an Offshore Engineer. Reporting to the Central Facilities Engineering function, this role will be based in Perth with occasional site travel and will take daily direction from the Capital Projects team. For further information, please discuss with the Hiring Manager - George Siappas.

This role will be a part of the Subsea Discipline pool in the Facilities Engineering organization. Individuals from this pool will be assigned to offshore projects where they will be responsible for delivering on time and on budget, through engineering, fabrication, installation and commissioning.

about you

To be considered for this role, it would be advantageous for applicant to have:

  • Proven technical expertise in subsea and marine engineering, installation and construction in both brownfield and greenfield environments and in any region
  • Highly experienced in subsea and marine delivery role on a capital project
  • Fluent in CPMS tools and practices and proven OE Cultural leadership abilities in a project position
  • Demonstrated contract management skills with knowledge of the offshore subsea construction supplier base and capable of leading /directing contractors to meet Chevron requirements
