Job Description
Would you like to be part of a dedicated team that builds software solutions for strength assessment of offshore and maritime structures?
The Product Line Renewables and Ocean Structures (ROS) is seeking an offshore engineer, structural engineer or naval architect with passion for C++ development to join our Modelling and Analysis team. You will play a key role in the development of the DNV Sesam software system (https://www.dnv.com/sesam).

You may be involved in the challenging work of improving the efficiency and user experience in these workflows.
Your primary responsibility will be to work as a C++ software developer for our product GeniE, which is part of Sesam. You will work in different parts of the GeniE product, such as finite element modelling, data exchange, topology and geometry modelling, and calculation algorithms.
Modelling and Analysis is part of ROS, which is responsible for software development, software technology, architecture, testing, and operations of advanced engineering software like Sesam and Bladed. The Product Centre consists of 60+ dedicated developers and engineers in multiple locations such as Oslo, Bristol, Shanghai, Pune and Gdynia. You will be part of a motivated team consisting of domain experts, professional software engineers, software testers, product managers and technical support engineers who pride themselves in delivering high-quality software.
