Worley Consulting is currently seeking to fill the position of Senior Marine & Coastal Engineer for our Ports & Marine Service Line in the EMEA Region.

The candidate will be expected to:
  • Manage small studies and projects within the Ports & Marine service line
  • Engage in the delivery of Marine Infrastructure Consulting Services including Feasibility Studies, Concept Designs, and Master Plans
  • Ensuring technical quality through implementation of best practice and continuous search for improvement
  • Promoting cost-reduction and productivity-enhancing initiatives
  • Performing site visits & inspections, data gathering activities and technical evaluations that are relevant to assigned tasks and works
  • Participating in design review and advising on technical design and drafting issues and compliance requirements as appropriate
  • Lead the preparation of proposals
  • Maintain Cost and Quality Control on projects in accordance with Worley procedures.
Job Specific Skills (knowledge, experience, capabilities, systems, programmes)
  • Deep knowledge of marine structure design and construction
  • Experience in condition assessments / asset integrity is desirable
  • Technology competent in improving delivery and performance
  • Excellent ability to present information
  • The individual will be expected to travel throughout the EMEA region
  • Energy transition aspirations
  • CAD and 3D imagery would be useful.
Education (qualifications, accreditation, training)
  • BEng(Hons) in Civil or Structural Engineering
  • Master's Degree related to the ports & maritime industry is desirable
  • Good written and spoken English
  • Minimum 10 years of relevant experience
Operational requirements
  • This role can be based in Dubai, Cape Town or Madrid.
