Passionate about driving growth within the maritime industry? Our partners are looking for an experienced Sales Executive who thrives in the Greek shipping ecosystem. You will represent a group of companies offering ship repair, port agency, and marine supply services, developing new business opportunities while nurturing long-term partnerships with shipowners, superintendents, and ship management firms.

This role is ideal for a commercially driven professional with a strong network in the Greek shipping market; someone who knows how to identify opportunities, open doors and translate technical services into tangible client value.

Mission:

As a Sales Executive, your mission will be to grow sales across the group's integrated maritime services by leveraging your relationships and deep understanding of the Greek shipping landscape. You will act as the primary point of contact for clients, identifying their needs and aligning them with tailored service solutions. You will work closely with the commercial team to expand market reach, increase revenue and ensure customer satisfaction through proactive engagement and cross-selling across business lines.

You will be responsible for:

  • Developing and executing sales strategies to drive business growth across ship repair, port agency, and marine supply services.
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with shipowners, technical departments, and ship management companies.
  • Identifying new business opportunities and presenting value-driven service proposals.
  • Representing the group's services under a unified commercial brand, ensuring consistent messaging and client experience.
  • Coordinating with internal departments to ensure smooth project execution and customer satisfaction.
  • Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of market trends, competition, and client developments within the Greek and international shipping markets.
  • Participating in industry events, networking activities and client visits when required.
  • Reporting on sales performance, pipeline status and market insights to the Commercial Manager.
Requirements

Must Have
  • 5+ years of experience in maritime sales, ideally within ship repair, drydocking, or afloat repair services.
  • Proven track record of sales success and relationship management within the Greek shipping community.
  • Established network with shipowners, superintendents, and ship management companies.
  • Strong understanding of ship repair cycles and related decision-making processes.
  • Valid driver's license and willingness to travel within Greece when needed.
Nice to Have
  • Experience working for a shipyard agency or as a representative of foreign shipyards in Greece.
  • Familiarity with port agency operations and marine supplies.
  • Background in technical sales or maritime services business development.
  • Exposure to international clients or agents in other shipping centers.
Skills & Competences
  • Strong commercial acumen and goal-oriented mindset.
  • Self-driven, ambitious, and highly motivated by achieving results and financial performance.
  • Ability to build trust and long-term relationships.
  • Entrepreneurial "hunter" mentality (proactive, persistent, opportunity-focused).
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with internal teams.
  • Strategic thinker, capable of identifying cross-selling opportunities across multiple service lines.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation and presentation skills in Greek and English.
Benefits
  • Competitive fixed salary, depending on experience.
  • Attractive commission scheme based on closed sales.
  • Company car leasing.
