Job Purpose
Reporting to the Offshore Superintendent, the Offshore Superintendent is responsible for leading and managing all offshore operations to ensure safe, efficient, and cost-effective execution. The role involves providing professional support to vessel owners, operators, and project teams to meet or exceed operational expectations. Acting as the primary liaison between internal and external stakeholders, the Offshore Superintendent ensures seamless coordination, effective communication, and the successful delivery of offshore activities in alignment with project objectives and company standards.
Duties and Responsibilities
• Maintain concise, timely communication with all relevant stakeholders.
• Provide pre-operation briefings, progress updates, and post-operation reports.
• Ensure alignment between internal teams, clients, and third-party service providers.
Regulatory & Statutory Compliance
• Ensure accurate and timely submission of statutory documents to:
- Maritime and Port Authority of Singapore (MPA)
- Immigration & Checkpoints Authority (ICA)
- National Environment Agency (NEA)
- Security and enforcement authorities
• Keep updated with regulatory changes affecting offshore operations.
On-Site Coordination
• Attend offshore sites as needed to supervise operations.
• Coordinate services, deliveries, and personnel logistics to ensure seamless execution.
HSSE & Risk Management
• Champion a strong Health, Safety, Security, and Environment (HSSE) culture.
• Lead risk assessments and ensure mitigation strategies are implemented.
• Foster a zero-incident mindset among offshore teams.
Training & System Utilisation
• Complete assigned offshore and safety training within stipulated timelines.
• Ensure effective use of ISS systems such as ONEDA and Optic according to SOPs.

- At least 3-5 years of relevant offshore operations experience or in a similar supervisory role.
- Experience in the maritime industry
- Experience in a multi-national, multi-cultural organization
- Staff management
- Diploma or Degree in Maritime Studies, Offshore Engineering, or equivalent.
- Valid Offshore Safety Certifications (e.g., BOSIET/FOET).
- Preferred: Dynamic Positioning(DP) awareness or related offshore competency certifications.
