Job Description As part of the ABS team, you will be working within an organization with several plan approval centers located across Europe, the Americas, and Asia. You will work on a variety of new build and existing ship projects both within the marine and the offshore sector as part of a medium sized team of experienced engineers. The work will involve both plan review and assistance to clients and surveyors on technical queries related to vessel structure, stability, load line, tonnage, fire protection and safety. The Senior Engineer performs engineering design review and analysis assignments normally involving a major project or several smaller or less complex projects. These projects by nature of their complexity and difficulty require the fully competent application of conventional knowledge in a particular field of engineering or science. Through broader and more technically challenging work assignments, will develop a thorough understanding of policies, methods and procedures. This job would suit a Naval Architect and Marine Engineer with already some years of specific experience. Naval Architect

We have a current opportunity for a Marine Systems Engineer on a contract basis. This is outside of IR35 and will be remote. A Senior Marine System Engineer is required as part of the Naval and Marine Operation Team. They will be responsible for supporting activities worldwide on different projects and provide technical support within the naval and marine operation Department on design and follow-on of new and ongoing projects with floating LNG and FPSO facilities. The main responsibilities include, but are not limited to: • Studying and defining the best technical solutions for Marine Systems. • Preparation of technical specifications and functional requirements for the marine systems in FPSO and FLNG, during the Front-End Engineering and Design (FEED) and execution on FPSO/FLNG projects.
